The A10200 processor ATCA board hostsone or two Intel Xeon 5500 Series processors. The processor complex hosts 8 VLP DIMM DDR3-SDRAM sites (four per processor socket), and is capable of being configured with 2 to 64 GB of main memory. The board provides gigabit Ethernet and 10 Gigabit Ethernet interfaces to the backplane Base and Fabric ports, respectively, as defined in PICMG 3.1. Front panel resources include four USB ports, one COM port, one-gigabit Ethernet maintenance access port, andone IPMC console port. Standard PICMGmechanical, supervision, and powerconversion resources are provided onthe board as defined in PICMG 3.0. Anaccompanying rear transitional module(RTM), TMS102, provides rear access two10/100/1000Base-T Ethernet interfaces,two USB 2.0 interfaces, eight generalpurpose I/O, and two on-board SAS harddisk drives.The board assembly is defined for deployment in NEBS office environments. The software package provided with this board includes standard BIOS, device driver, and hardware initialization resources required to support both Linux and on-request Windows OS environments. An optional run-time BIT application package is also available.The A10200 is targeted for core and edgenetwork systems applications requiring ageneral-purpose processor board with high real-time and memory capacity.
