The Intel Atom processor 400 and 500 series family offer robust performance and, for the first time, scalability with the Intel Embedded Flexible Design. This family includes two dual-core processors (D525 and D510) and four single-core processors (N455, N450, D425 and D410) with some processors offering memory support up to DDR3 800 MHz. With integrated graphics and memory controllers, these processors deliver graphics core rendering speeds from 200 to 400 MHz while maintaining power efficiency.Featuring extended lifecycle support, this platform offers solutions for print imaging, digital signage, interactive kiosks, point-of-sale terminals, thin clients, digital security systems, and residential gateways. The processors are software compatible with previous 32-bit Intel architecture and complimentary silicon. Based on 45nm process technology, the Intel Atom processors 400 and 500 series for embedded computing are available in dual-core and single-core options with thermal design power (TDP) from 13W to 5.5W. The platform includes the Intel 82801HM I/O Controller that provides an Intel High Definition Audio interface and rich I/O capabilities via multiple high bandwidth interfaces such as PCI Express*, PCI, Serial ATA, Hi-Speed USB 2.0.
